To enhance a child’s development through positive interactions within a quality preschool   

 
As children learn through play, we aim to introduce a balance of structured and free choice activities.  Through these activities the children will be able to explore their thoughts, ideas and feelings, and use their imaginations while building their gross and fine motor skills.

 
It is through the Playschool’s environment and programmed activities that we aim to best support the children’s physical, social, emotional and cognitive development.  The environment is to be one with emphasis on nurturing, safety, security and enjoyment.  Children can be relaxed, comfortable and accepted, free of physical, verbal and psychological punishment.

 
Programming should not only foster the children’s developmental skills, but should offer challenges and fun!  The children will be exposed to a variety of indoor and outdoor activities (weather permitting), materials and equipment (and time to explore these), both at the Preschool and on excursions.

 
Every child is encouraged to express their individuality and develop their skills to the best of their ability.  Children are encouraged to be honest, independent and responsible while practicing problem-solving skills, expressing their emotions and respecting others.
